- Mezmerize - A SOAD Story Part 6
After a half hour of sitting in traffic and rocking out to some Slipknot and Alice In Chains the traffic got moving and they were on their way.
"Thank god its moving! If I sat here any longer I would have gone nuts!" Dia said trying to seem rough around teh edges but on the inside she felt she could have sat there all day with him just rocking out to good metal.
"Well we will be at your place in about five minuites" Shavo said.
"Alrighty" Dia said actually feeling a bit dissapionted.
The next song that started playing was Alice In Chain`s Them Bones, Shavo started singing along!
"Hey, not bad! Not bad at all" Dia said and also started singing along.

After singing they arrived at Dia`s house cracking up from laughter.
"Hahahahaha! Oh wow that was fun" Dia said holding her sides.
"Hahaha! Man hahaha you have a real metal voice!" Shavo said putting his hand on Dia`s shoulder.
When the laughter had stoped it was silent for a moment when Dia realized Shavo`s hand was on her shoulder. Also it seemed Shavo forgot his hand was there!
"Hey Shavo, would you mind helping me bring my guitars in?" Dia asked.
"No problem, I was going to offer" Shavo said "Oh! Sorry" He said removing his hand from Dia`s shoulder.
"Dont worry about it! I didnt mind!" Dia said giving Shavo a warm smile then getting out of the car.
Dia grabed one of the guitars and Shavo grabed the other two so Dia could unlock the door.
"Hey, where do you want me to put these?" Shavo said after walking in.
"Uh, just put them by the couch with the other one.... Oh hey i`ll be right back I need to check the answering machine" Dia said and went into the kitchen to check the messages "Oh and you can have a seat or leave if you like"
"OK, thanks" Shavo said and decided to take a seat.
About five minuites later Dia came out of the kitchen looking pale, wide eyed, and lifeless.
"Hey!.....Diane? Is there something wrong?" Shavo said taking off his sunglases to get a better look at the girl who was happy and smiling a minuite ago.
"Dia?" Shavo said again this time more persistant.
"I.....Its......" Dia strugled to get the words out of her throat.
"Whats wrong?" Shavo asked now looking concerned.
"Its....... My friend....... I just got a call from a New York hospital....... She was muged and was in severe condition the last few days and now..........." Dia said staring so wide eyed into nothing in particular it looked like her eyes were going to come out of her head.
"........." Shavo was silent just wating and listining.
"She died last night! Tara! She was my best friend! And she-she`s gone!" Dia said now falling to the floor in tears.
"I-I`m sorry" Was all Shavo could say, he too was shocked.
Shavo went up to Dia and huged her untill her tears stoped.
