- Mezmerize - A SOAD Story Part 8
When Jen and Dia arrived at Dia`s house they decided to head out early for the concert since Christina was there studying .... AGAIN.
"Well, im going to go change my clothes for the concert..... Try not to piss Christina off TO much.." Dia said and went to get changed..................
When Dia was ready she came down in a pair of black baggy shorts, a SOAD strap shirt and cargo boots.
"Okay, did you call the cab?" Dia asked Jen.
"Yup, it should be here in 5 minuites" Jen said looking at the clock.
"Okay good. Hah so did you manage to stay out of Christina`s way?" Dia asked.
"Well.... She came out of her room.... Took one good look at me and slamed the door! Haha and I could have sworn I heard her cursing under her breath about no peace and quite or something" Jen said walking out the front door with Dia.
"Ha ha ha ha! Sounds just like her!" Dia said "Oh, the cabs here"
So they both got in the cab, it was absolutly filthy. Covered in cigerett burns and smelt like piss.
"Oh *******.......... If this is what hell is like then im a christian as of now!" Dia said putting her hands on her face to block the smell.
"Where to?" The old fat red neck cabby asked.
"Uhhh, the radio club down in north LA" Dia said and the cabby was off.
"Oh god..... the stench is unbareable!" Jen said.
"I know! Only 10 min untill we get there atleast" Dia said.
"Good, but its only 6, the concert isnt untill 7! Why are we going so early?" Jen asked.
"Shavo told me to come early so the bouncers let us in for the front row without complications" Dia said.
"Oh okay, I guess that would make sense" Jen said.
"Ha! But thats not all! Of course we have to buy drinks! And getting their early will save time" Dia said smiling.
"Whooo! good ol` alcohol!" Jen yelled and pumped her arm.
"Ha ha ha ha!" They both laughed.
10 minuites later the cabby pulled up to the club......
"How much will that be?" Dia asked.
" 15 dollars 50 cent" The old cabby said in a scratchy voice.
"Okay... Thanks" Dia said, payed the cabby and got out.
"Freedom!!!!!" Jen yelled throwing her hands in the air.
"Free concert!!! Ha ha!" Dia said also throwing her hands in the air.
"Dia! I love you for meeting your idol and getting free concert tickets!" Jen said huging Dia.
"Ha ha! Hey! Who says he`s my "idol"" Dia asked.
"Ha! Oh come on! You know you like him!" Jen said looking Dia in the eye, but she turned away. "Ha!!! You DO! Dont you?"
"Ha ha ha ha c`mon! A little hyper arent you?" Dia said.
"Hah! Yes yes well because im overjoyed to the frigen max!" Jen said jogging in place.
"Haha okay calm down! your like the energizer bunny on acid! Lets go in.... A Line is already forming.." Dia said and they walked to the club.
At the door Dia and Jen passed about a line of 200 people......
"Um, VIP guests" Dia said remembering what Shavo told her to say to the bouncer at the door...
"Name please" The large man said.
"Diane Maljonian" Dia said
"Ok, come in" The bouncer siad and opeaned the doors for then.
It was a pretty large place for a radio club.... It had a bar and all, Dia and Jen were the only ones in there other then the roadies and numerous people who work there.
"Wow this is weird.... Ive never seen this place so empty!" Dia said looking around"
"Yeah.... Well we might as well get something to drink" Jen said walking up to the bar.
"Im in for that.... I wonder when other people are going to be let in... I feel a bit akward just sitting here" Dia said.
"Yeah, well its 6:30 now and since the show starts at 7..... maby 10 minuites I guess?" Jen said.
"Yeah" Dia said and the bar tender asked her if she wanted a drink "Uhhh I guess a bloddy mary" Dia said.
"And you" the bartender asked Jen.
"An angry parrot" Jen said.
"Woooow you sure do know your drinks!" Dia said sarcasticly.
"Well you know I know being drunk!" Jen said.
"Ha ha ha im sure you do...... Eh but im not one to talk" Dia said reciving her drink and having a sip.
"Hmm it looks like the roadies are just about done setting up" Jen said.
"Yup..........
