Separate forum for "Activism and legislation"?
What would anyone think about having a separate forum whose threads would deal specifically with legal status and/or enforcement issues?
Now that we have over a dozen pages of threads in both "Destination Information" and "General Discussion", it's getting harder to find location specific info on the legal side of things, if that's what you're looking for.
The separation, as I see it, would be:
* "Destination Information": Trip reports and inquiries, aside from legal stuff.
* "Activism and legislation": Existing laws, court cases, protests, and proposed legislation, as affects the TF and CO communities in specific countries, states and cities.
* "General Discussion", for everything else.
Just a suggestion, but it seems a natural progression of things as the board grows.
Thoughts, anyone?

I like the idea too...particularly helpful to just know the laws that apply in each state, and in other countries. It is a different focus than the 'destination' threads that could then talk more about the experience rather than the law.

And lo & behold, there it is!
Now I have to get busy. When I joined this board, I read every post on every thread in every forum. A few posts fall squarely in the realm of legislation and court cases. When identified, those should be moved to the new forum.
