New Admin / moderators?
I don't know if this is even possible given the current status of our board (with Brith2o not responding), but does anyone know if it would be possible to get a new administrator and add some moderators? If it is possible would anyone be willing to step up? (I would be willing to be a moderator.)

I agree Robert.
I just posted under the nudity thread.
This board needs to be moderated not closed to new members and guests.
I think you would make a good moderator. I had no problem with the picture that you had posted. Unfortunately,my concerns that the thread would get out of control became a reality.

Agreed as well, but I don't think there are provisions to overthrow a current moderator and replace him. I think we have to wait on him and that could be a problem. And if he's not interested enough in looking in ocassionally, he's really not going to be interested in moderating it to the extent of approving memberships.
Further, the Runboard staff did what they could. I don't think they can just go in and delete posts arbitrarily, so they did what they could under their rules. The fault, as Paul pointed out elsewhere, is that suddenly people felt compelled to start posting pictures of their genitals. (Actually, the first couple of shots by females probably would have passed muster since genitalia weren't viewable from their angles.)
So unless the few remove their explicit pictures, the many -- both (now) members and the broader public -- are going to suffer.

If he's lost interest, presumably he could be persuaded to pass the torch (assuming that's possible) or at least deputize another moderator.
But that would require getting in contact with him in the first place. I assume both PMs and email have been tried.
I notice his profile has a link to a page with a résumé. No doubt that's enough information for someone to track him down if they were determined, but one would hate to appear stalker-like.

I've appointed Robert91 as a Global Admin for the board. If anyone else feels willing I'd be happy to promote them also. Robert91 was also suggested on other PMs that I received.

As a moderator I now have the power to edit and delete posts and to move threads from one place to another. (If you're really observant you might have noticed I've already started working on it.) I also have the power to ban members. Please let me know of any concerns/problems.
I really think it would be a good idea to have a female moderator on this board as well; would anyone be willing to step up to the task?

Congratulations Robert. Please govern with kindness, otherwise we'll have to "storm the Bastille" and off with your head. 
I agree that a female moderator should be on the board. My first thoughts go to two members that have been around the boards a long time and shown themselves to be responsible members, Elizabeth and/or Jane(if she will still visit regularly?)

They have both been suggested by others but this is strictly a voluntary position. I will not appoint them unless it is their desire.
The day to day activities I'm leaving in the Mods hands. They should be contacted with issues and if I'm needed they can contact me to step in for whatever they need. I will back the Staffs decisions unless they are proven the wrong ones.
