Not topfree, but not inhibited
I was out for a bike ride today and saw a woman in a very public place (The Old Man viewing area, which is not quite as infested with tourists as it was before the Old Man fell off the mountain, but still frequented by many on beautiful summer day). She had lifted up her short black miniskirt exposing her cleanly shaved pussy and was peeing right in the place that used to be the best place to view the Old Man (which is right by the top of the paved area at the very edge of the woods). A young boy was staring at her, I'm guessing it was her son. I was riding by pretty fast on my bike so I guess she thought no one was around, but people usually go into the woods for that. I'm assuming she didn't know there are public restrooms right across the street, and by the time I realized what was going on it was much to late too tell her. As I rode on by she stood up and pressed down her skirt, showing her bare midriff. she was wearing a brief black tank top, I didn't see any sign of bra or panties, but I was going too fast to tell for sure.

peeing in public like that is pretty gross...especially in front of children....she should have taken the effort to find a bathroom....or pee in the woods, where no one can see her..

Agreed. I know that spot and in just a few steps she could have been in the trees.

I don't mind peeing in front of people ... if we know each other. I don't mind peeing where I can be seen ... as long as it's not right near the general public as you indicate that spot was.
Maybe she was European? Not to offend our European members, and having only been to a few European countries I can't say that I am widely travelled there, and only having known a few Europeans, but the impression I got was that attitudes about public urination were much more relaxed. For example, I only spent a few days in Rome but probably 10 times during them I saw some guy just amble up to a wall or tree and let it rip. Perhaps because you much more often have to pay to use restrooms there which is almost unheard-of in America.

I doubt that the location of the restrooms had anything to do with this. It was probably intentional exhibitionism.

I note that the people you saw were all male in Rome.I think this reflects on the fact that men feel they have the right to pee anywhere because they are more in control or want to be seen to be more in control of public spaces.They are quite litterally marking their territory.So in a way the woman you saw was striking a blow for freedom and perhaps putting two fingers up at male privelage.Then again she could just have been desperate.Anyway there are better ways to show womens strength and public prescence than this.Two wrongs don't make a right but since there is a woefully inadequate provision of public toilets for people in general and women in particular perhaps she can be forgiven.Here in Britain there is usually only two and often one cubicle for women yet men get a cubicle and a urinal.
And yes Europeans ARE more relaxed about their bodies and all their functions than Americans with their powder rooms.
