Why don't you wear a bra?
Just a note, I am 56, have large breasts, and have been braless for 30 years. Last weekend I played in a woman's golf tournament. I did not know very well the other 3 players in my group (30-40ish and in good shape). We were waiting on about the 4th tee when one of them asked me why I did not wear a bra today. I told them that I never wear one and have not for over 30 years. They were shocked and finally one of them asked if I knew that it is easy to tell that I am braless (my nipples stick out and my breasts sway when I walk). I said yes, but I did not care. Then I asked them if they liked wearing a bra and they all said NO. All 3 hated the darn things. So I asked them why they thought women had to wear a bra and that our great grandmothers did not wear one. They acted like they had never thought about it. I told them that I had decided 30 years ago that I would be more comfortable and look more natural if I let my breasts show as they are. Well, on day 2 of the tournament, 2 of the 3 came braless, although one of them had on an undershirt on. I encouraged them and said they looked fine. Anyway, I am just amazed that smart women don't think and make a decision for themselves on whether to wear a bra or not. At least think about it.
Any ideas on this?

i beleive that most women feel they have to wear a bra--they are obligated...it is what society says we have to wear...and dawn i think its great that at 56 and bigger breasted, you still do not wear a bra....bravo!!

I used to be a toll collector when I was in HS & college. You may not have noticed it but I'm sure you'd be amazed at the number of times there will be more than 10 cars in one booth with an empty booth right next to them. At times I've seen over 20 cars dutifully line up one behind another while the booth right next to the one they were taking was empty. I still see this today.
I think a big part of the reason is same as why those women never even thought about not wearing a bra, most people are sheep.

i think he just means that people will follow what everyone else does. if most women wears a bra, they will too. like at the toll booths, they will line up where everyone else is so they wouldn't be different. like sheep, they follow each other.
