Where can I get this dress?
Although I'm not sure I would wear it braless around where I live; I'd have to have a look at me in it first:

That dress probably isn't even that see through when you just look at it. The bright flash of the cameras makes it look more sheer than it really is. So there is definitely nothing inapprpriate about it. Even if it was very sheer, I think her daughter would be the last person to notice.

Personally, I cannot object to this dress. If some people object to beauty, in all its forms, they can just go stare at a fatal auto accident to find blood or go home and thump their bibles.

Just a note...not everybody that has a Bible finds a sheer dress or bare breasts objectionable, but thanks for the Biblethumper generalization.

As stated on this board earlier this month. "Our grandmothers did not wear bras". In many other countries bra wearing is still not the norm. In these countries it is still an option.
It seems in America only a chosen few choose to not follow the cultural norm. I some instances bras are required (work) etc.
I have also noticed in Fashion Mags not many of the models wear bras nor are the designer clothes designed with bras in mind. They almost always show their collections on models braless.
Just musing.

i loved the sheer dress--i am not so sure i would wear it, though...too long..for a older woman , i think you could pull it off..

WSe had a similar incident at a HS reunion once, one of the dresses worn looked perfectly opaque but one particular picture must have caught it just right or with the right frequency of light or something because it showed her bra very clearly.

Wow I have a dress that does the same thing.
Hubby and I went out with my GF and her hubby for their anniversary last weekend. It was a sort of dress up affair, not formal just not casual. We had this planned for some time and I bought a new dress (black strapless,above the knee but very modest for me, had to behave)for the event. Long story short we went out for a very nice classy meal, a few occasion pictures then a few drinks and some dancing then home, no nip slips no panty flashes no nothing, I surprised my self. Well yesterday my GF called me and asked me to come over to drink some wine and lay in the sun with her since our hubbies were gone to a golf tourney and to bring my new dress with me also. So I threw on my bikini ,grabbed the dress and drove over to their house, they just live two miles over on the next road. When I got there she met me in the driveway in her bathing suit which surprised me because she is a very shy person but I figured that since we both live in the country and don't have close neighbours that she wasn't too concerned about anyone seeing her. But I think she was just so excited was the reason she met me. She told me she had something to show me and pulled me to the house very quickly. Now i was very curious. She said she didn't know if I knew this or not but she just couldn't wait to show me any longer. We went into the livingroom and sat down. she truned on her tv which she had her camera connected to. She told me that she was looking at the pics from the night we went out and started to show me. After about a dozen pictures she stopped and said are you ready for this one . It was a pic she took of hubby and me standing in front of some gardens in front of the restaurant. And WOW you could clearly see my nipples and teeny weeny little very sheer panties and my landing strip on their 54 inch big screen tv! My dress was very transparent, I think my mouth hit the floor!!! I said to my GF that it must be a trick or something but I knew it was me. I protested that my dress was not seethru and if it was why didn't she say something. She said she was shocked also and that it was not see thru that night. I asked her who had seen the pics and she said only her, she has seen me naked many times so that was not a big deal but even though I loved the idea of the dress I would rather know ahead of time so I know if I'm going to be showing and when. She told me to try the dress on so I took my top off and put the dress on over my neon pink flowered bikini bottom. My gf said see not seethru. We went to a mirror and you could not see a hint of nips or bikini bottom. We went outside in the sunlight and the same result, no show so we went back in and she grabbed the camera and took a pic. Presto you could clearly see my nips and flowered bottom, the bottom looked like it was lit up. I pulled the bottoms off and took another pic, again nips and landing strip but not as bright as with the bottoms on. She tried the dress on also with the same results. We spent the next hour or so trying on her clothes but found nothing else with same results. We concluded it was the flash which turned the dress transparent. I had never heard of this before.
