Cut-off T-shirts are fun

I think others enjoy these shortie tops for very casual times when it might be a little cool to be totally topfree. Last summer, I spilled some red wine on one of my favorite white t-shirts...nothing worked to get it clean so I tried to save it for casual wear. I cut off the lower portion of the shirt and tried it on. When I looked in the mirror, I could still see the bottom of my breasts, but I thought it was kind of a nice look. I took and little hem around the bottom...this raised the level a little more, but my nipples were still covered with room to spare.

Well, when I wore it for Happy Hour with the guys next door, they loved it. As long as I don't raise my arms real high, I'm still not totally exposed, but it's also very comfy. Over last weekend, I recycled another t-shirt into a cut-off top so now I have two. Just wondering if anyone else has done this. It's another fun fashion option!

 Allie,
I have a couple of these too, what a great shirt for a hot day.
One of mine is snug arouund the bust and shows about 2 inches of the bottom, I have to pull it back down if it gets too high.
The other is quite loose. It comes up and even blows up easier than the tighter one but also goes back by itself. Leaning over always gives a pretty good view for those behind you.
I enjoy them both but the loose one is more fun and easier to wear for me.

Just a reminder, one thing the Runboard people were concerned about was solicitation of photos that might break their terms of service. The above seems to be a borderline request that probably would pass muster. However, if it were a solicitation of a topfree photo, apparently that would break their rules and subject the requester to sanctions.

An item of clothing I always wished I could purchase for my wife was a half-height top made of T-shirt material, but with a fur lining and at least half-length sleeves. The impetus was that she was nursing our youngest for a couple of winters in there, and didn't like to get cold shoulders either while nursing the baby in bed, or after lovemaking, on chilly winter nights.

I even went so far as to go into a lingerie store and talk with the owner about designing such a garment, but she wasn't too good with a sewing machine, and neither was I, so it never came about.

I wonder if anyone has yet come up with this. Nursing moms in cold houses would love it, and so would their husbands! ;-)

Re: Cut-off T-shirts are fun

I agree that cut-offs shirts are fun. I have worn them for 30 years or so. I like the loose ones that are a thin material.
3 fun stories--
Several years ago, I wore my favorite cut-off on a flight to Hawaii. All was fine until I got up to get my hubby's bag from the overhead. I heard a few gasps and when I sat back down, hubby told me that both nipples were showing. So of course, later I had to put the bag back--it took longer to get it just right(;
I like to wear a cut-off to play tennis. When I serve, they show just for a second. Very fun.
And last, just this summer, I cut off a new t-shirt I had gotten for doing a charity walk. I wore it for several of our walks and all was fine. It was cut just below my nipples and a few inches of my saggies were showing, just the way I like it. I went on a business trip with hubby and one the first day, we decided to go for our power walk. I put on the newly washed shirt and we left the resort hotel room, down the elevator and across the lobby and outside to walk on the the path next to the golf course. After a meeting a few people, I noticed that they were staring even more than usual at my chest. I mentioned it to hubby and he laughed and then told me that the shirt was just to his liking, the nipple on the little one was barely covered and the nipple on the big one was completely out. Then, and only then, did I figure out that I had washed the shirt and it must have shrunk. We laughed and laughed and I must say that the 2 mile walk was extra fun that day. I love to show them off!!

Alliefree this is just what I was hoping to read and I started a posting called Looking At It Another Way.

I think it deliciously subversive for a woman to wear a top this way.If the authorities get "shirty" over showing too much cleavage then showing the bottom half of the breasts without showing the nipple is great.

It also mans that the person can feel freer with nothing cupping the lower part of her breasts.

I had never worn cut-off tee shirts before, last week I cut off two of my thin almost sheer white tees, cut them only slightly below my nipples. Next day, I wore one braless into a convenience store, wasn't even noticed by anyone. Hubby and I then went into a home improvment center where almost everyone noticed me, even had a few compliments, wonderful feelings. Looking forward to wearing them more and more, where have you gals worn your cut-off tee shirts?

Linda

The belly shirt that was popular a few years ago were fun but lacked a lot compared to the cut off shirt. I had a few of them that were modified to my taste.
Wearing cut off T shirts braless is not for the modest, but then there aren't many here that are that modest.
We are made up of outgoing confident women and you know the old saying "girls just want to have fun". These shirts certainly give you plenty of opportunities to do that.
I first wore them on drives and picnics, then ventured on to just about everywhere including Wal-Mart.
I have had my share of double takes and loved every one of them and in the process brought enjoyment to many people out there and have yet to have a rude comment that I could hear.
I still look around before taking something off the top shelf, by the point that your elbow gets shoulder high, you are fully exposed if your shirt is the right length.
While it is warm, it's time for the girls to get out and have some fun.
