Gold medalist headlights
We just got finished watching beach volleyball on the Olympics featuring the reigning world champions, 2004 gold medalists, and winners of 103 matches in a row Misty May-Trainor and Kerri Walsh do it again. They wore mostly white bikinis (even a little sheer around the hips) and towards the end of the match the sweat must have started coming through because you could clearly see the bulge of their nipples. If they noticed, they didn't care during the post-match interview. Refreshing.

Re: Gold medalist headlights
One of the things I have heard mom's talk about is when their kids begin competitive swimming.
Yes they comment how nothing is left to the imagination when their blossomed daughters wear the suits. What strikes them more is seeing their son's in the skin tight wet suits. They had no idea how developed their boys had become.
I am glad that our athletes are not hung up about their bodies. I actually would love to see them compete in the nude.
I remember the LA Olympics, which I had the privilege to attend. I don't remember their names, but two athletes ( a man and a woman) posed nude for a statue which graced the olympic grounds.

Re: Gold medalist headlights
i don't think competing in the nude would be very comfortable for the male athletes. all that running and jumping in warm weather would probably hurt a bit. they would need some support. good idea for the female athletes though, or at least topfree.

Re: Gold medalist headlights
My wife was watching the men's beach volleyball and complaining that the men were wearing baggy shorts and shirts.

Sad to see these guys is so much textile. I've been enjoying the diving and swimming venues myself. Particularly some of the guys in the diving events...love it! Like others have said, some of the women are really looking good...beach volleyball, swimming, diving. Great athletes and great bods!!

Re: Gold medalist headlights
Agree, Agree, Agree! When most athletes need to be at their best, they need as little wind/water resistance as possible, and if you worked that hard on getting your body in shape, wouldn't you want to show it off? I know I would! As a bonus to the rest of us watching, all of the competitors are nice to look at.

Re: Gold medalist headlights
In the gymnastics, the women have nothing on the legs and long sleeves for the arms. The men have singlet tops but long pants. Probably goes back a long time, but does anyone know why?
Cheers,
Graeme

Re: Gold medalist headlights
Misty and Kerri won again tonight and on to the knockout round they go, but wore dark blue bikinis. I wonder when or if they will break out the white ones again.

Re: Gold medalist headlights
Yes, 105 in a row and they were in the white bikinis again. Kerri's got some dark areolas I can see. Love that they aren't self-conscious about it at all, and it would be so great to be so athletic like them!
