How I Got Here
Ever wonder how we all ended-up with such a passion for wearing g-strings and being topless. I have been thinking about that topic lately and I hope women on this board would share their stories as I'am about to now.
My senior year in HS, my girl friends and I went shopping at the mall the day after ThanksGiving in Cold Chicago. Back then I was not considered to be into fashion as I'am now and I wanted to buy an outfit for a saturday night date with my boyfriend at the time.
After buying my new outfit, my one girlfriend decided to go to VS because she needed new panties. She immediately was drawn to a table where there was a sale on microfiber and silk thongs in a multitude of colors and patterns. My other friends joined-in and not to be left-out I joined-in as well. No doubt they felt very soft and silky and with a little arm twisting from my friends I bought three.
We ended-up at my girl friends house to try on our new outfits which included our new thongs from VS. The most outgoing of the three of us, I'll call her Kristen, immediately stripped down to try on her new purple silk thong. I'll admit it she looked hot. After some coaxing we all ended-up trying-on our new thongs and it was Kristen's idea to start dancing like a stripper.
After awhile all three of us were dancing and Kristen even took off her bra and she looked pretty sexy doing it. At some point that afternoon, I really started to like how I looked and felt in my own pink thong.
Eventually I went home, wearing my new thong. As soon as I got home I went to my room and stripped down to just my pink thong, turned on my music and danced in front of my mirror.

I was introduced into toplessness during a vacation onto Eivissa in 1993 by a woman who was wearing an early kind of a microstring (I told this story in the First-time-topless-thread). But while I was mostly topless after this experience and everytime since now more than a decade it lasted some more years for me to reduce the largeness of my bottoms, too. First from bikini bottoms to tanga bottoms and at least from tanga bottoms to g-strings (today I wear tanga bottoms and g-strings).
For the reduction from bikini bottoms to tanga bottoms I cannot announce a special reason. It was a common fashion trend in whole Europe at that time and I simply followed him. Something similar (but not something equal) was true for the reduction of the size onto g-strings (who until today are also in Europe only minor used swimwear - but today not only selled by sexshops as in the early years but from all serious large swimwear-department stores).
It must be at the end of the 90ies (1998 or 1999, I´m not sure now) when I shaved my pussy for the first time totally and bought than my first g-string for another summer vacation to Eivissa. Yes, I owe this island so much.
The reason was that totally shaved pussies came into fashion at that time, that I enjoyed very much from the beginning to have now a totally shaved pussy, too - after having had for years a remaining "landing strip" - and that I wanted to enjoy this new body feeling even more at the beach.
Today I own even three ww-sheer g-strings and one ww-pussy-free g-string - but acceptable of course not at every place

I recently explained my conversion to topless sunbathing on another thread. As I mentioned on that thread I'm hoping to summon up the courage to get into a string in the next Australian summer. If I do make the jump, and I'm pretty confident I will, it will be because I enjoyed last summer's first topfree experiences so much.
I saw some other women in strings and I thought it looked very sexy. As I mentioned on the other thread, going topless on the beach unleashed a bit of an exhibitionist streak in me, which I didn't know I possessed. Just the thought of wearing a g string is making me even more interested in exploring that side of my personality. Mind you it's wet and cold in Sydney at the moment, so beaches and g strings seem a long way away.

I really can feel with you - at the last weekend and at the beginning of this week it was the same weather here - and it´s now the peak of the summer! But yesterday the weather fortunately changed again and I was the whole afternoon and early evening topless and in a thong bottom at the public swimming pool
Maybe it gives a little bit better feeling to you to imagine that we all here in Europe and in North America will sitt in a cold and dark winter when you can enjoy being topless and in a g-string at the beach
Yes, and not to forget: Dear bondijoolz, you´re really not alone in exploring an exhibitionist in yourself through toplessness. And I think converting to a g-string will not be in any way difficult for you! Even if your daugther is shocking again (while wearing for herself a g-string ).

I got into thongs back in the late 1990s around the same time that my family got into nudism. That was around the same time that thong underwear was becoming mainstream. I got a thong bikini before a family vacation to Savannah, GA but the lifeguard still told me that I had to cover up for he'd call the cops. I really like thongs because I'm the president of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee, but I've got a booty.

Her name is Mandy and she swims in that g string every day even through the winter. I do get out for a winter swim, but it's always in a wetsuit. I'm very keen on a couple of Wicked Weasel strings myself. Not far from taking the step up!!!
