Body acceptance not often encountered among entertainers:

Yes! I saw the news article yesterday too. Especially for those of us who are on the small side, it was encouraging to see a very prominent entertainer boldly say "NO" to digital enhancement. It sends a wonderful message to us and to millions of young girls who are wondering if they'll ever measure up in our modern culture.

Good for her!!! I too am on the small side. I am happy. I grew up at a time when breast enhancement was not pushed on billboards. To see such a young and beautiful lady say I am fine is such a delight.

Hopefully we see more of this attitude! I'd like to see real women in the public and not plastic reproductions of the last one! That's what gives them their beauty, character and charm.

They really should have something about this in their contracts so people know when they hire them that they dont want any breast enhancements in their photos or films. That seems like the best way to avoid movie companies and professional photographers from enhancing their breasts in any way. Its like that anti-nudity clause some celebs have.

I must confess I´m against such a clause. A woman who wants to make a breast enlargement should do it in my opinion. I must also confess in my eyes much silicon boobs are looking very eatable and I must say, too, I can understand why so much woman let their boobs enlarge.emoticonemoticon

Sorry, I know I´m in a small minority with this opinion. So that no misunderstandings can happen: Of course not only big boobs are beautiful boobs - as we can see here in this Forumemoticon!!!

Nicci

I agree it is up to the woman. Some women are so very happy afterward.

However, I really am happy with who I am and how my body is (except for lingering stretch marks and lose skin from childbirth.)

There just does not seem to be much support for us smaller ladies to stay the way we are. Not much support for some ladies to let their boobs sag.
