ImageShack
All of the topfree images (of women (except for the Virgin Mary)they don't seem to mind topfree men) I posted to imageshack have been classified as "forbidden" which is basically the same as having been deleted. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have a recommendation for a better site to host our images?

Re: ImageShack
You might try Photobucket, but I don't know whether they delete topfree or nude photos or not.

Re: ImageShack
I'm afraid they do, I've seen lots of Photobucket images replaced with "This image violated our terms of use."

Re: ImageShack
Have had this happen in the past too. NOW...my photos are not available at all on ImageShack...looking for an alternative too.
Later now...had to reload my image...so I guess I'm back!

Re: ImageShack
Couldnt you say that their policy is discriminatory since they allow topfree male pictures on their websites but not topfree females? Why should you always have to move from one site to another when they decide your picture violates their terms of use? Areint they violating YOUR rights by doing this? I would think your rights are more important their their trumped up terms of use.

Re: ImageShack
All of mine are still there, and there are both male and female topfree pictures and nudes.

Re: ImageShack
Some internet service providers (ISP) give a certain amount of space for each account for you to have your own web space or website. So, some people, depending on their ISP would be able to keep their photos hosted there. You would have to get it set up with a user name and password, and then learn how to upload the photos, so it would take a little bit of website knowledge. Also, some ISP may have a policy which forbids nudity which unfortunately includes female breasts in some people's minds. There are places where you can get a basic website hosted for only a few dollars per year, but you would also need to register a domain name which also cost a few dollars per year. By including a proper robots.txt file in your website you can prevent the bots (robots) from searching and indexing chosen directories.
Example:
###############################
#
# robots.txt file for yourwebsite.com (replace with your url here)
#
# addresses all robots by using wild card *
#
User-agent: *
# list folders robots are not allowed to index
Disallow: /cgi-bin/
Disallow: /downloads/
Disallow: /images/
Disallow: /images_private/
#
# list specific files robots are not allowed to index
#
Disallow: /.html
Disallow: /404_error.html
Disallow: /******.html
Disallow: /menu.htm
#
# End of robots.txt file
#
###############################
It isn’t as hard as it seems, but it would be more trouble than some want to deal with.
Another possible solution, since this site obviously is friendly to topfree images, is a "trick" that should work. Include the photo you wish to use as your avatar photo in a post such as this one, then get the photo’s url and use it (right click the photo and then select properties to reveal the photos url). In effect, this site would then be hosting your avatar. A separate thread or forum section could also be started just for the reason I suppose, unless management objects for some reason, which is possible because of bandwidth restrictions and etc.
If I wasn't so busy I would set up a site just for the purpose, but I just don't have the extra time to manage a project like that now.

Re: ImageShack
Also, regarding image hosting sites I might add that the reason some images do not get deleted or flagged and some do is because of complaints directing someone to specific accounts or photos. Which basically means some people get “caught” with photos going against terms of service sooner than others. With the amount of photos on these sites the management relies on the users to help police the site. I think the notion of female breasts being obscene or not suited for public display is ridiculous, but the people here already know other people have opposing views.
