Going Topfree
I think many people here would rather just sit back quietly and obey the anti-topfree laws and be good citizens while the majority of society and the government continue to usurp your right to go topfree/brafree in all but the most private and secluded places. Does that seem at all fair?
Many here seem to think only women and their husbands have anything useful to say about going topfree.
How can women be independent of societal restrictions when they allow the society to decide when and where they can go topfree? That doesnt seem independent to me.
Its interesting how women insist on following the laws even if those laws deny you your freedom to go topfree in public. Why obey discriminatory laws? Since when do other people have the "right" not to see you topfree? Ive never seen that in the Bill of Rights! THEY are infringing on YOUR rights as women, not the other way around!
I would prefer we could all coexist peacefully and let people chose where and when to go topfree but if society will not let us do that then maybe a little disruptive disestablishment is in order. Im not doing it to gain MY credibility im doing it to open their eyes and give YOU credibility. People need to learn that women going topfree is OK, they need to get out of the puritanical age, that is archaic and no longer appropriate.
Why not exercise LEGALLY your GOD given RIGHT to go topfree in public and let everyone enjoy your breasts! Whats so wrong with that? We have to be exposed to all their disgusting habits so whats wrong with them being exposed to our innocent ones?

Mike,
I feel compassion for you. I understand most here on the board have decided to ignore you. I have on many occasion mumbled or yelled at the computer after reading one of your posts.
To address this quote. I must bring it to your attention. You sound like a voyeur.
I respectfully suggest that you join AANR and seek out a CO group who will accept you. After having been to one of their meetings or groups perhaps your thinking can be reprogrammed. Nudity is not Sex.
The way you continue to express yourself it shows your immaturity regarding nudity or Topfreedom. I wish you the best. Some have said get help!!! I believe this is the kind of help you need. You will have to participate and be nude. If you attend the meeting as a voyeur you will be expelled. I hope this will happen for you and you can find the answers you are looking for.
By the way Topfreedom may be GOD given. Legally the city or county you live in determines whether or not it is LEGAL.

I meant it a bit sarcastically, I didnt want women to be able to go topfree simply for people to enjoy the sight of their breasts. I simply thought that women should be able to enjoy the freedom of having their breasts out in the open and other people should be able to see them enjoying that freedom because then it might encourage them to do the same.

To be honest ive heard alot of stuff about AANR and some of it that isnt all good. They tend to promote going nude only in a few private enclosed areas away from the general public and instead of promoting themselves as a strict nudist resort they intend to let people chose weither to wear clothes or not on their property. Forgive me but I thought the whole point of going to a NUDIST resort is to be NUDE! Beaches and other public areas are more suited to being C/O. They make nudism into a joke instead of a serious lifestyle. Besides topfreedom isnt nudism, theyre two different things. I never thought nudism equals sex!

What does me being completely NUDE in PRIVATE have to do with going topfree? I want women to be able to have the freedom to go topfree in public without fear of arrest or harrasment because they happen to offend someone.

Thats a reasonable demand, I would not want voyuers at a nudist resort either, luckily im not one.

I give up like everyone else on this board. This is my final response to anything you hope to say.
Why do you only wish to see things in your view?
Why do you refuse to dialogue with intelligence?
Apparently, you have not thoroughly studied AANR or you would know, that until nudity/Topfreedom is common in America they fight for the opportunity (as does the NAC) to me nude or Topfree in public with others and without voyeurs.
I believe you are afraid to submit your self to any authority. You wish to be your own authority.
In the Adam and Eve story you will note that their sin was not eating the fruit of the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. It was that in the eating of the fruit they became their own gods wishing to determine for themselves right from wrong and not be subject to God or ultimately any authority.
Now, YOU will not accept common laws made by man because YOU don't want to accept them.
I believe you have fallen for the lie that Satan first presented "surely you won't die, God won't punish you as he said" (my paraphrase).
Apparently, your eyes have been opened and now YOU are a god... I am not surprised you find your self so wise.
No need to respond... I know you will however you can not help youself... for no one will ever get the last word on you...

I would like nothing more than to see women being topfree wherever they please.
However, there are far too many male nutcases, some with religious affiliation, who may actually do harm to women who chose to be topfree.
Like they say, discretion is the better part of valour.

This is my first post. I have been a lurker for a long, long time.
I need to express myself. This guy named Mike - I have no understanding why the Moderators tolerate him. He was just told to try to get along with everyone, his response is another confrontational post.
1) He clearly does not know how to have fun. I have not seen this problem with others on this board who really like the lifestyle of toplessness and nudity.
2) I have seen several threads destroyed by his shallow and confrontational tone.
3) He clearly lives in a fantasy world. He has demonstrated no experience of meaningful interaction with women. Clearly he himself has never been nude in public. He has no experience of working with a community organization, nor with running a business. He speaks from his imagination, not from real life experience.
4) As a person with professional mental health training, his thinking process clearly reflect a serious mental health issue that he refuses to get help for. It is inappropriate for him to act out his problems in a forum such as this.
Now that I have made my position clear - perhaps I will receive a warning and be asked not to participate on this board. That is fine. Mike will slam me. That is predictable.
I actually love reading the threads, the ideas shared as well as the many ideas that are simply fun to try. Thanks everybody. I wish the best for this board and really enjoy hearing about what others have experienced.

Topfreedom (or nudity for that matter) will not be common in public unless they do something to make it common and make sure that the voyuers are dealt with. Theyre not going to accomplish that hiding in their nudist resorts sending out pamphlets.

Well God gave them the ability to choose, whatd he expect them to do? if he doesnt want people questioning him then he shouldnt give them that ability. He shouldnt make it possible for people to be flawed and then blame them for it.

Going to jail gets people's attention, theres lots of people out there who make a point out of people who go to jail and are victims of police brutality. If women wont take a chance and go topfree and possibly go to jail then they shouldnt complain if they dont have the freedom to go topfree in public.

Well actually its a copy of a post I already put on here before they told me to do that I was just putting into the section that was more related with going topfree.

I have had plenty of meaningful interaction with women. I hate to burst your bubble but going topfree is not nudity and I doubt my going nude in public is going to help your topfree cause any. I do have some job experience I simply dont put up with b/s. Well at least some of us HAVE imagination instead of just playing with their electronic gizmos all day!

Unfortunately, women being topfree,and especially nudity, is not one of the accepted norms of our society in North America.
We have to live with the laws to a certain extent.Those that we don't like have to be challenged in the courts or through legislative action.
The "in-your-face" confrontation rarely works.
