I understand that at Alum Creek Beach near Columbus, Oh has a topfree area. Has anyone been there?

I've been to Caesar's Creek once each summer for the last 2 years but haven't seen anyone topfree. My wife was hoping to go topfree but wasn't comfortable being the only one or the first one to shed the top. Did see a guy in a thong the first year we went. It is definitely legal though - I e-mailed the park rangers to specifically ask the question and they replied saying that topfree and thongs were legal.

You are absolutely right. Unfortunately, being the first person to go topless takes a lot of courage - you must be willing to be the focus of attention, bearing in minde that there may be:
1) People (mostly guys) that get all silly when they see a topless woman and start acting inappropriately
2) People (guys and girls, but I would say mostly girls) that feel that topless is immoral and that they have a civil duty to make you feel incredibly uncomfortable and pressure you into putting your top back on.
Would this happen if you took your top off in Caesar Creek? I don't know, because my wife has never been courageous enough to try it. In fact, she has never been willing to be the first person topless anywhere. But at least you can do it in Caesar Creek knowing you won't get a ticket - if you are brave and can handle the reaction that you might get, then go for it!

Used Caesar's Creek alot two years ago, but it's legal to go topfree in Ohio so I just go topfree in my own yard now! The neighors now know it's legal so it no problem.

We managed to go to Alum Creek last Saturday - it was a nice day but it was not crowded at all. So, wife and I went to far end of beach where there three guys in thongs, plus me and she went topfree there. It was a very nice day, even talked with the one of the other guys there who convinced us to move to an even more secluded spot, in a cove area where we all got nude.

We are planning a trip to Caesar Creek State Park in the middle of May this year and we had a couple of questions, if anyone here can help, we would be gratefull.
Does anyone know if the beaches are open year-round, ie May 13th to May 23, (before Memorial Day)?
Also, I've seen many sites saying that Caesar Creek Beach permits topfreedom and all of Ohio for that matter. But I did come across an artical in "The Post Ohio" talking about House Bill 188 (to ban toplessness) which went on to say that currently it's a class 4 misdemenor to be topless in an Ohio State Park. There was no date on this artical, does anyone know certainly if this really is a law and if any new laws have passed?

If in doubt, ask a park ranger. I e-mailed the Ohio State Park rangers' office 2 years ago and got a very polite reply saying that it is not illegal to expose breasts or buttocks in Ohio state parks and the consequence is that you can go topless and/or wear thongs and it will be completely legal.
