Florida?
Does anyone know of any decent places in Florida that are accepting of top freedom? I've tried looking it up, but can't find much.
Thanks.

Re: Florida?
The best-known would be South Beach and Haulover Beach in Miami. Haulover is a state-run CO beach, and as for South Beach, basically the cops just gave up trying to stop the Europeans.

Re: Florida?
I was at Jacksonville Beach a couple of weekends ago, and went to the beach for lunch on a Friday. There was at least one girl topless on the beach. She certainly wasn't feeling like she had to hide.

Re: Florida?
On the west coast you can go to Ft. Desoto or North Lido Beach or Capersen Beach - been to each of them topfree. Or you can try Apollo Beach on the east coast.
All of these beaches are very long and beautiful and it's not difficult at all to find a place to be topfree

Re: Florida?
I'm up on the Panhandle and there is a Beach close to Pensacola (Johnson's Beach) that is used as a Nude Beach but with discretion. Most walk down about quarter mile past where you park the cars, the farther you go the better. You have the Gulf on one side, then a lagoon/bay on the other side. In offseason it is mostly deserted except for us few die hard sun worshippers. They have dunes that you can hide in to get away from the wind also if you go in the winter months.

Re: Florida?
Every time I've gone to Cocoa Beach I've seen topfree wwomen. Not near the pier but a bit South of the pier is where women seem to be the most comfortable going topfree.

Topfree Beaches in South Florida
Anywhere on Miami Beach. Very common South of about 30th, all the way south to the port. Being topless in Miami is no big thing and locals are seen not just sunning topless but walking, swimming, playing and lined up waiting for a cold drink at the concession stands.
Haulover beach is not only top-free but optionally nude.
Topless is seen on Fort Lauderdale beach but is more discreet. You won't see topless girls walking around but they do sun topless. It's meant to be illegal but life guards don't mind.
The best place to layout is often close to the lifeguard stand so that the know-it-alls don't have an excuse to come ogle you while telling you it's meant to be illegal but they support you, ogle ogle.

Re: Florida?
If is ok at South Beach and Haulover, why aren't there more beaches like this? It should be obvious by now that topfreedom does not harm anyone or pervert our kids so why don't other cities take notice? It makes no sense to me.

Re: Florida?
The places that have foreign tourists tend to allow it or look the other way. They want the tourist dollars.

Re: Florida?
On florida's east coast north of the Cape, is a beach called Playalinda Beach. You have to go into the Cape Canaveral National Seashore which costs non-residents like $5. Drive all the way to the end of the road and park at the very last parking area. From there, walk to the beach and turn left (north) on the beach. You will see naked people and then you will know where it is okay. Do keep in mind that nowhere in Fla is it really legal to be naked in public. My wife and I have been to Playalinda many times though and never been hassled.
