Hindman Road:

Location: About 2 miles east of Hwy 13 on County Home road. Road starts on the north side of County Home road, and ends at the next gravel north. It can get pretty sloppy especially after rain, and getting stuck after sliding into the ditch is probable (I've had to pull 3 people out of there).

Forwarning! The farmer that lifts just to the east of the south end of this road will drive out in his Gator and yell at you if he can catch up or you get stuck! Somebody got their minivan stuck on this road and was talking to the a Deputy at the end of the road, my cousin and i drove by in his lifted XJ and offered to pull them out, and the Deputy and the farmer told us to get lost and gave us nasty looks.

Old Quaas Road
North of County Home Road, connects Alburnett Road North with C Avenue. The Alburnett road entrance is solid gravel west to a farmhouse, then it turns into a grassy two-track.

 emoticon

I came onto the "road" from C Ave yesterday, and got stuck (briefly) about 200 yards before the gravel started up. The drainage isn't good, and the field run off can leave it filled with chest-deep water and mud ...

Re: Linn County

hey guys

We were planning to run some b roads this weekend and was wondering if you guys got anymore updates on the conditions of these roads or perhaps some more in general? Sadly these b roads are about all we have to look forward to until our club trip out west next year.

Thanks

This B level road discussion seems to have moved on the the General Discussion section under HI. Same problem, local farmers raise all h--l for damage to 'their' roads.

Re: Linn County

We need to find out the "rules" for lvl b roads. We should have as much right as the farmer to use them anyone know otherwise? I did speak to a Sherrif that says as long as we do not cause damage to the road we are fine.... Now there is some gray area around that word "damage"
