Toys for Tots
miobi club has an upcoming toys for tots event planned. i believe a $20.00 dollar toy will get you in for the weekend. for info., go to miobi.org.

This is a great event and a great cause. I'm usually down there to represent the Corps, but I have to run the rifle range this weekend.
If anybody has questions about the Toys 4 Tots program, or wants to make a toy donation but can't make it to Hamilton, let me know. I am also going to try and coordinate drop sites at all of the fire stations in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and Coralville again this year. Also, if anybody works at a business that would like a toy box drop, let me know.
Sorry for pimping the T4T thing so much, but that's one of the things I love about the Corps, it gives me a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside. It's a great program.

yeah it should be a good cause. i decided i will go down, heck the price is right, gas is about 70 cents cheaper than the labor day run i went to. Labor day was as dry as could be. yesterday Hamilton area got about a half an inch of rain, so it should be nice and sticky in the morning and about right the rest of the day. i talked to the V.P. of the club and they are expecting a pretty good turn out.(probably cuz gas prices are down )we'll see. i hope i can get some good video of the mud flyin!!!
