Hosta Hill 4X4
I bought my RE 5.5" LA kit, gears, and shocks through Doug at Hosta Hill. He is also installing the gears. Even after sales tax, he blew away the competition's prices on the RE lift. He was in the process of buying/ selling houses, and moving, but still managed to get me going. He is even making a trip into town on Tuesday night to finish the gear install so I can make Howiepalooza.
Now you always hear about supporting the local guy, and paying a little more for good service, but with the lowest prices, and great service....What's there to think about?

Re: Hosta Hill 4X4
I'll second Ed's endorsement of Doug and Hosta Hill 4x4. He smoked everybody elses price for my RE springs, and when I needed new rear shackle hangers in order to finish my install, he had them drop shipped from the manufacturer, no questions asked. He is a great guy to work with, and his customer service can't be beat.
As far as I know, Doug in Frytown, SW of Iowa City off of Hwy 1. He is moving or has moved, and I'm not sure where to. Even if he moved to Des Moines, it would still be worth the trip to do business with him.
