600 Acres?
What is the latest word on 600 acres? I heard a couple of weeks ago that it is a done deal, and trucks are no longer allowed?

I've talked to Mary Lou Freeman, Jeffery Vonk, and Dave Downing. By the sound of things, yes, its a done deal. Apparently no 4wd group(state or local level) worked with the state agencies(DNR, Army Corps, etc) enough to convey our interest in the use of the land. Until the signs and barricades are up it is still open to full size 4wd. My question to the membership of this club is: Are we interested in working with the DNR to acquire land for full size 4wd use and will this membership step up to the challege?

Looks like they dozed everything, including the motocross track. I am going to try to get out there on the quad sometime this weekend to see what else they did.
Who will they blame the accidents on now that the trucks are gone?
