Torro Laker wins G4-5 Jumping at North Downs
I was very proud of Torro today as we worked very well together. The course seemed more testing than it walked for many, with a few places where a change of direction resulted in wide turns. Torro turned very tightly where required - obviously the tightest
I didn't know he had gone into the lead though. I saw several good rounds after his that looked very good so am pleased and impressed with him coming first.
He needs 2 more jumping wins or an agility win to move up to Grade 5 so we have a way to go but he's still young and we have all next year.
It's a good boost and adds to my belief and confidence in our handling method and training. Don't worry I won't keep it to myself

Re: Torro Laker wins G4-5 Jumping at North Downs
It was a STUNNING round indeed - it wasn't an easy course and they made it look SMOOTH. ( Bliss who is Grade 5 struggled with the weave entry!!! We didn't go clear!!! )
VERY WELL DONE TO KAREN AND TORRO. A brilliant end to the season, and a big step towards Grade 5 !
