Dog-friendly Holidays

Have a look at
www.multidogcottages.co.uk

Looks lovely doesn't it.
These people ( Marcus and Mandy Bainbridge ) bred my youngster Jay and are very nice people indeed ( although they have bred a completely lunatic dog!!! ).
I have been on the farm a couple of times first time to meet and second time to collect Jay and it s indeed very beautiful there.

A big thank you for the info on this place. We have booked it partly because it looks so good but also because they are going to let Katie (my daughter) help with lambing. She wants to be a vet and needs as much experience working with different animals as she can get so this is fab. We can have a lovely family holiday at the same time too. emoticon

Hi Sally and Katie

That's great.
When are you going ??

You will have to pass my best regards to Mandy and Marcus.

Make sure though you don't come home with a Comebyanaway puppy ( the line of collies they breed ) ...

I don't think Mark and Karen would accept to train another Comebyanay collie at club !!!!!!!! ( NOT UNLESS YOU WANT TO GIVE THEM GREY HAIR !!! )

AH AH AH !!!!!!!!!

Hi Sandrine

We are planning ahead on this one and going in April 2010!! We need to go when they are lambing and in sch holidays so it has to be 2010. Its good though, to know that Katie has lambing experience planned, one less thing to organise. We should be safe from temptation re puppies as we are planning to get another working ****er like Burt this year so will have our hands full I think!!?

Sally

If Katie wants more experience with different animals she is welcome to come over and get some hands on with my chickens too.

Hi Linda

I am sure she would like that. In fact we were thinking of getting a few chickens for her to look after, any tips?

Re: Dog-friendly Holidays

sorry - only just seen this... well depends what you want. I'm involved in Ex battery hen rehoming so you could start with a few of them? We ask for a couple of pound donation per hen. They just need a safe shed/stable/henhouse to sleep at night and lay eggs, layers pellets and water dauly. No harder than a rabbit to keep.

Remind me at club if you like and I'll share more.
