AVG Launches Web Page Scanner AVG has launched a free tool to help protect people from malicious software embedded on websites. Linkscanner works by looking at the Web Page behind a link or a web address typed into the browser.
It then analyses whether it harbours a threat. If it does, then Linkscanner stops the user from downloading that page. It was previously included with AVG's anti-virus product, but is now available seperately
Re: AVG Launches Web Page Scanner We have that now....Hubby decided after 2 years of Son and I telling him that AVG was waaaay better than both his NORTON or AFEES, he has gone ahead and bought the pro account for all 3 of us!
