His computer or laptop has a higher spec than yours thus he can access data more quickly than you can, probaly has a better Processor or more RAM than you have.

Don't be discouraged though, at least he can access internet through your ISP without any problems.

As he is sharing you both have access to internet without any hassle or worries, your signal may drop when he is online when you are, same goes for me here when my son has his computer on through our routere etc. We have three connections running sometimes, mine, desktop and Xbox. My connection is slower than normal when this happens even though I have control over the whole connection.

No need to worry, its like it is when you are sharing a connection

Wizard....I have a problem. Have you ever heard of some people being able to see posted pictures by ONE member.......and yet that member and several OTHER members can NOT see them. They only see the message...that the photo has been moved or deleted????
MissDarkness (MEL) on my site has been posting for several days now. But she can not see her own pictures, and Mariel can not see her pictures (I even saved one of her images and reposted it.....every one could see that one)
Now we thought it was just MEL and Mariel had something set wrong, but tonight JEFF and POOH said they could not see MEL'S stuff either.
But everyone else can......I'm totally lost here!
I've advised the total clearing of history, cache,cookies......I'm lost.... emoticon

What she has done here can be a few things....

She has uploaded her image to photobucket, placed a image using the photobucket code, then moved the image to another file. This means that what ever image she had has become void because the code url has been changed.

OR

her link is not acceptable as it has too many uppercase characters

OR

She is using another computer which belongs to a server and the server has blocked the photobucket site, this happens to me when I browse the site at my workplace, but I am transfering the photobucket images slowly over to imageshack bit by bit. My PC at work shows images from imageshack

I thought of some of those, but why would some of us be able to see them, but not her or some other's?
That is the confusing part.
She also thought perhaps it was because of the B****word in her name some people were blocked, including her or something.
I know if she changes the name of an album, it will break the urls for all those pictures.
But why can some see them and others' not?

I think it has to be a url problem as I have loaded the url into my browser and I can not see the picture either, only the warning window saying it has been moved or deleted emoticon

Well, she changed HER profanity setting, and Mariel changed her profanity setting, and now both can see them...my site has always been set to Profanity..."Always Off"...so I don't know!

I think it was the user name - which was my fault as I don't think about it as being a rude word. Also it seemed to work on Yuku!

I still don't understand if Queeny's profanity filter is set to "always of" why that shouldn't allow people to see the images. We did work a way around it though.

Here's a question for you. On Becky and Sue's combined sites..."The Outcast Island"....I can see they're backgrounds bleeding through the posts,the reply box and even when I did a screen cap to show them that I could see the background......HERE IS WHERE I COMPLAINED AND ADDED THE SCREEN CAPS
But they say they can not see it, that is must be on my end.
But your site has a background, I can not see it bleeding through any of the posts and My site has a strong background, and it does not bleed through my posts there either....
Any ideas??????
