 ASDA Durabrand DVD Player - Multi Region Hack
If you want your DVD Player to play ANY DVD, no matter what the region is, there is a code to use to make it do this.
This is NOT illegal to do, it's basically an engineers code which they do not insert in the manual
1. Press the Open button on your DVD player to open the drive tray
2. Press the Stop button on your remote control
3. Press the 2 button on your remote control
4. Press the 3 button on your remote control
5. Press the 7 button on your remote control
6. Press the 9 button on your remote control
7. You should now see this screen...
8. You should now be able to change the region using the Up and Down buttons on your remote control to 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or 0 for multi-region playback
9. Close the drive lid on your DVD player
10. Press the Standby button on your DVD player
Congratulations !!
Your DVD Player will now play any region if you've selected 0. This mean that you can play Region 1 DVD's from the US !
Most American DVD's have lots of extras on them not like the ones we get here in the UK (which is Region 2), and Region 1 DVD's aren't likely to be edited or scenes cut out.

It never worked for my daughters. when she open the disc door it told her to close it, and wouldnt allow anything while it was open :(

no its not. bought mine from currys. going to try that code now and see what happens. his IS a multi region but its not playing a usa dvd right now. So going to go and have a look. But the boy is looking for the remote what a pain in the rear
