Setup a Tiscali Dial-up Connection
Make sure you have all the info you need which was sent by Tiscali. i.e Username, Passwords & Phone Number(s) etc...
To set up your connection from scratch....
1. Click the Start Button
2. Select Control Panel
3. Select Network Connections icon
4. Create a new connection link in the left hand panel
(it's under the heading Network tasks)
This will start the new connection wizard.
Click Next
On the next screen make sure you have checked the button called Connect to the Internet. Then click Next.
Make sure that the Set up my connection manually button is clicked. Then click Next.
Click Connect using a dial up modem and then click next
Type a name for your connection - such as Tiscali and click Next
Here, type in the number you dial to call Tiscali. These may have changed but you may have a number given to you to dial
Anytime 1470,0808 993 3031
Daytime 1470,0808 993 3151
Daytime Plus 1470,0808 993 3057
ISDN** 1470,0845 661 4682
Offpeak 1470,0808 993 3050
Pay As You Go 0844 052 9009
Surftime 1470,0844 040 4102
50/100 1470,0808 993 3030
Here, under username type in your full email address. This is in the format;
yourname@tiscali.co.uk
Then enter your password, and confirm it. Then click Next to see this screen
Click Finish and you will see the next scrren, where you can test your connection
Click the Dial button to connect to Tiscali
