HEADS UP....Queeny's 2009 travels are about to start..
Just letting you all know that Hubby and I may be pulling out TOMORROW MORNING, starting our 2009 travels.
And I say MAY because we are waiting on ONE more College financial aid check. Hubby called both the financial adviser and the bank and had them conference talk to each other yesterday, and they assured us it would be there today!
SO ......if it is, then we have to get it deposited, son and I have to get him set up with a Dentist for cleaning and pick up some supplies, then tonight we'll have dinner together.....say our goodbyes and HOPEFULLY hubby and I will be on the road tomorrow morning.
I SHOULD be on every morning as long as I have a cell signal, but some mountain areas and some "dead" zones will not have a signal.
Itinerary at the moment:
From here to Gallup, NM
then to Green River, UTAH
Then to Payette, Idaho
(My parents live here and both need some help, so we'll stay here a MONTH or so...)
But by August we'll be in Minnesota at a campground that also has little cabins for rent.
As son had to leave his Dorm from Aug.7 - Aug 17th for the end of Summer class and beginning of FALL classes.....so he'll fly up to MN. His girlfriend will pick him up at the airport and they can stay in a cabin for a couple of weeks.
He and she will then go back to school.
Hubby and I will start on our way to the U.S. side of Niagara Falls (old Navy bud lives in the area)....from there, off to MAINE.....(another old Navy bud there..) hopefully we can see MAINE in the FALL......then start our way back down towards Las Cruces, NM arriving back here around Nov. 1st...
Of course we are like "farts in a wind storm" only the Parents and Kid are definite!
Anywho....I shall get in here as often as I can, from where ever we are. I'm hoping that will be at least EVERY MORNING.....
BUT....if I have only a limited amount of time....I'll ONLY post at Queeny's...so check there...also that is where my TRAVEL pictures will be posted!
