Tutorial 1.1 - Adding two numbers with an Excel Formula Open the workbook that you saved earlier. Insert in cell B3 the word Add and the number 1275 into cell B3.
Click on cell B4 and enter the number 25 and press Enter
Click on B5 and type.....=B3+B4 and press Enter
Excel displays in B5 the sum of the contents of the two cells B3 and B4
If you have done this correctly then you have just performed your first calculation in Excel.
