Re: STOCKTON BEACH 2008 (Trip Report)

Hi guys & girls

Thanks Jalal & Matt and all those who attended for a great day.
Everybody enjoyed themselves & all the Exy's certainly performed very well.
The driving skills of everyone over all the sand & dunes we covered was outstanding.
The photos posted are great & shows what safe fun the members of this forum can have on an organised trip.
Congratulations to all...

Re: STOCKTON BEACH 2008 (Trip Report)

Hey guys,

What a great trip this turned out to be. Shame it was a little too far to do in a day, but next time (work permitting) I will hopefully make a weekend of it.

Great pics and shame to see the mighty BT dug in on the dune. emoticon

I am so keen to test out the new 3 litre diesel 'x-trail', that I am a starter for sure next time.

Just got to decide which vehicle to take. emoticon

Re: STOCKTON BEACH 2008 (Trip Report)

Here are my pics which are a bit different to what is here so far. Sorry to be late but I have taken 3 weeks to get my PC working 8(

The last one is a bit far away, but I think it shows the dune we went down to be steeper than the close up photos make out.

I just took the bashplate off today to clean out all the clay collected on the way to Stockton. Heaps of it! I also found that the bashplate is a bit of a challenge to get back on once it has been bashed up a bit emoticon

Hey Chris,

Superb photos....oh, except for the one of yours truly getting towed out of my 2WD induced bog. emoticon

I thought I'd got away without anyone photographing that....oh well.

Re: STOCKTON BEACH 2008 (Trip Report)

Evening Rich,
Sorry for the late reply, I havent been able to log on lately due to family commitments and work, so its been pretty hectic.

I have done the video but I am having problems uploading it to ImageShack, is this because you can only host pictures on there and not video files?

P.S - I have removed the photo from my Stockon Pictures cause of the rego plate and I will re-post this picture once I do the editing, thanks for picking that one up, I missed it when going through them..
