Oh, I've seen some of those dramas too -- I love Hirosue Ryoko.. she was most recently in the drama we watched on the J-drama video club called Moto Kare.

Sounds good! Let me know if you have any questions. I usually hang out in the J-drama forum. emoticon

No problem! Oh yeah, Moto Kare was a really good drama -- the two main characters (Toji and Makoto) also starred together in a drama called Summer Snow. But we did have a pretty good discussion on MK in the Video Club topic in J-forum.

Hi and welcome, litagreen4! We're very glad to have you join us and thanks for sharing some background about yourself. Yep, you sound like a lot of us here... tired of the violence and stuff on American TV. Like you, I enjoy a lot of both Japanese and Korean programming. In fact, I rarely watch anything at all on American TV (maybe Dancing with the stars or sports). LOL! class blockquote litagreen4 wrote:

I never knew we had background music playing on our website! LOL! I must be using the wrong browser, or something. Maybe one of the other mods will clue me in so I can hear it, too! emoticon

Anyway, so happy to have you with us.

Welcome to the board, Litagreen4! Thanks so much for joining -- we're very happy to have you with us, and we're looking forward to having you join in on our drama discussions. emoticon

Nchristi, does an instrumental background music start playing when you access this TV Schedules topic in the Announcements forum? I think the background music only plays on Creidesca's schedule site which has the list of all the dramas currently airing on LA-18/KXLA. Since that 'TV Schedules' topic links to her schedule site, that might be why the music is playing in that topic, too. I really like that instrumental song, though -- it's pretty relaxing and calming! emoticon

Litagreen4, it looks like the song is an instrumental version of the song Kimi wo Sagashiteta ("I Was Looking For You") by the Japanese group Chemistry.

Nope, don't hear anything in that CJK thread. I know there is background music on Creidesca's chart site (because she cites it at the bottom), but I never hear that, either! LOL!

Hmm, now I can't hear the music either! When I posted my previous reply, I was using a computer at my school's library and the music was playing there. But now I'm using my personal computer, and the music doesn't play on neither the CJK thread nor Creidesca's chart site! I don't think it's my browser, since both computers had Mozilla Firefox, but maybe it's the version of Windows? The school computer has Windows XP, and my personal computer has Windows Vista. Maybe the music only plays on XP? Hmm.

Re: *New members* SAY HELLO HERE!

I have Windows XP and it isn't working for me. I am also still using SeaMonkey browser, though I also have Firefox and Internet Explorer. I still prefer SeaMonkey because it has features the others do not, features I use a lot. The downside is that most of the websites I frequent in Korea (and Asia) require IE, so I have to switch to it when accessing those.

[Edit: Shall we move our discussion over to the Tech Forum if we continue?]
